Biologists would have you call this thing an Armadillo-Girdled Lizard, Cordylus cataphractus, but I won’t be fooled. This is clearly a baby dragon. They also have this adorable habit of biting their own tails for no discernible reason. Which is adorable until you remember what the ouroboros is, and inevitably conclude that these things are also dark magic.

The move is made in anticipation of Peña Nieto’s/PRI’s Energy Reform Bill (ERB) which will privatize PEMEX, Mexico’s state-run oil/petroleum company. As Young explains, DE wants EF for its contracts in northern Mexico, which Mexico’s gov. controls absolutely. Negotiating directly with them for natural gas will be highly profitable for DE/EF and catastrophic for workers and the land.
Young also points out how Houston is a huge energy industrial hub and much of the positive press in favor of ERB comes from this area.
